Tiburon’s waterfront location makes it a prime destination for homebuyers who desire water views, award-winning schools, and easy access to the bay and San Francisco. For a town of only 8,000 residents, Tiburon offers a variety of activities that belies its small size. The Belvedere Tiburon Library hosts almost 1,000 programs a year for all ages, and the annual Tiburon International Film Festival brings films from around the world. Residents enjoy shopping in the elegant boutiques along Ark Row, a leafy, block-long enclave of tiny shops that were once floating arks, and dining at the excellent restaurants along Main Street. Reed Union School District covers grades Kindergarten through 8th. High schoolers primarily attend Redwood High School, but are able to access the other schools in the Tamalpais Union High School District. The private Marin Country Day School and Marin Montessori School are located on the eastern side of the Tiburon Peninsula.
