Bill's success in residential real estate rests on a strong foundation in finance, land use, and planning. He earned his degree in Business Administration at the University of Texas, and began his career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse. He has been involved in many aspects of commercial real estate sales and development as well as residential sales.
Bill is a dedicated family man who appreciates all that the area has to offer families with regard to excellent schools, activities, facilities, and neighborhoods. In his free time, Bill enjoys sailing on the Bay, skiing in Tahoe, and taking in nearby San Francisco's renowned culture and attractions.
Ann Aylwin

Ann earned her Bachelor of Philosophy with a Focus in Finance at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She lived and travelled in Asia before joining Geographic Expeditions, a high end adventure travel company in San Francisco, where she worked as Director of Operations and Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
In real estate, Ann often draws on the skills she honed in her earlier work - marketing, sales, complex logistics, and high stakes negotiations - as well as the perspectives she has gained from her travels abroad.
Ann is the mother of two teenage daughters, an active member of her community, and a published author and photographer.
Louca Bornemann

Louca Bornemann is the Smith + Aylwin Team's Licensed Associate and Marketing Specialist. He is involved in everything from the design and implementation of the team's marketing outreach, to tracking results and managing the team’s systems, as well as every aspect of the sales process.
Louca has lived in Marin County for over twenty years. His deep knowledge of Marin's local communities, highly developed communication skills, and technological expertise provide the Smith + Aylwin Team with a sharp marketing advantage.
Born on La Cote d'Azur of southern France and raised in the Bay Area, Louca’s international background, combined with his tremendous local knowledge, imbues him with a uniquely broad perspective and ability to understand the needs and desires of buyers and sellers.
Louca studied Communications and Film at the University of Colorado, and pursued a number of passions before launching his career in real estate. From canvasser and world traveler to landscaping specialist and hospitality maven, Louca’s life experiences have guided him to discover and thrive in the real estate industry.
Mary Beth Mullen
Mary Beth Mullen - Beth, as she is known - has been the Smith + Aylwin Team's trusted Transactions Coordinator for years.
Beth has worked in real estate for almost two decades, and knows the business inside and out. She joined Pacific Union, now Compass, in 2013, as Office Manager of the Belvedere office, and has worked in a number of administrative capacities within the company.
Beth originally hails from Texas, where she first entered the world of real estate. She moved to California in 1998, and particularly appreciates the Marin lifestyle. Beth is a devoted mother, an avid surfer, and an outdoor enthusiast.
